Brushing teeth: clean tooth surface

Brushing is the most basic method of oral cleaning, and you should insist on brushing your teeth sooner or later, about 3 minutes each time.

It should be noted that it is not possible to brush only on the outside of the teeth, both inside and outside and on the occlusal surface, and it is advisable to brush in a certain order to avoid omissions.

Floss: Clearing the teeth

The gap between the teeth needs to be cleaned with some special tools, including dental floss, toothpicks, and interdental brushes.

Dental floss is most suitable for the tooth gap without obvious gingival recession. Most people, including children's deciduous teeth, can use dental floss.

Yamaguchi: To the residue

Brushing and flossing complete the basic cleaning of the oral cavity, but the entire oral hygiene maintenance is not limited to the teeth, but also the timely removal of food debris in the mouth, and rinse can play this auxiliary role.

It should be noted that no matter whether it is clean water, salty water, or various mouth rinses on the market, it can only play a role in auxiliary cleaning. It cannot remove dental plaque and is not a substitute for brushing.

Scaling: In addition to calculus

It is not possible to completely remove the plaque and soft dirt on the surface of teeth on a daily basis. After a long period of time, dental calculus will be formed and it is necessary to go to the hospital for regular dental cleaning.

People who have a good oral hygiene care usually recommend cleaning their teeth every six months to a year.

However, for patients undergoing orthodontics or severe periodontal disease, the doctor may relatively shorten the review time according to the situation.
